-6 years teaching both in public and charter elementary schools 

-2 years teaching Spanish Immersion (2nd/3rd grade)

-Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education from BYU 2007

-Masters of Art in Teacher Education with an emphasis in Literacy from BYU 2012 (thesis in science education)

-mother of 5 girls ages ranging from 2-11

Qualifications:

-10 years teaching experience across Special Education and General Education settings

-Training and experience implementing the Sonday System, a phonics based program

-Certified and experienced in using ESL techniques (English as a Second Language) to enhance learning outcomes

-Texas Certified to teach all core subjects early childhood thrugh 8th grade, Special Education, and ESL

-Mom of 3, including a childwith dyslexia and dysgraphia

Qualifications:

-Bachelor's Degree in Digital Media, emphasis in Animation

-8 years as a freelance illustrator

-2 years as a Trader Joe's sign artist

-Previous experience teaching art classes from preschool to college (as an adjunct professor, Utah Valley University)
