-6 years teaching both in public and charter elementary schools before teaching for Continuum

-2 years teaching Spanish Immersion (2nd/3rd grade)

-Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education from BYU 2007

-Masters of Art in Teacher Education with an emphasis in Literacy from BYU 2012 (thesis in science education)

-mother of 5 girls ages ranging from 4-13
